Smells soft and cozy
I picked up this hand cream after using the Byredo one simply because I wanted something that wasn't quite as expensive. And honestly, I wasn't expecting much.
Needless to say, I was wrong.
The formula is genuinely great. It instantly softens and nourishes my hands, leaving what feels like an invisible protective veil over the skin. And it absorbs ridiculously fast. You're still rubbing it in and it's already gone. No greasy fingerprints on your phone screen, no oily residue all over your keyboard. Your hands are just soft and silky with no stickiness.
The packaging is a little unusual. It comes in a soft plastic tube with a pump, but it turns out to be surprisingly convenient. The pump also makes it easier to control how much you use. Just dispense a small amount, rub it in, and add more if you need it.
The texture is kind of like a thin yogurt, so it spreads effortlessly and sinks in with one smooth swipe.
And the scent...oh, the scent. It smells luxurious. I cannot stop sniffing my hands.
I can't really break it down into individual notes because it smells so cohesive and beautifully balanced. Sweet, but not too sweet, creamy and sensual, cozy and delicately soft. Imagine sitting in an armchair with a book, wearing silk pajamas, while someone you love wraps a cashmere shawl around your shoulders, pulls you into a warm embrace, and gently kisses your temple.
